Ronstieb - your phone call to AA seems to have gleaned highly cost sensitive information that the market has not been informed of: it would certainly have been reasonable to this point to assume BAS was up for 45% of an offshore well in Vic/P41 in the first three quarters of 2011. Similarly your own calculation of $1.3M being the BAS share of Windemere-3 in April 2011 calls the earlier reported 2010/11 minimum indicative spend of $993K into question. You also seem to think there is a capital raising coming early in 2011.
Robmorr - one can focus on a stock while coming to grips with the fundamentals of value, including future liabilities, without holding stock; one can also have an interest held through a super fund or company which themselves hold stock but you technically have no position.
