It is evident that frustration has began to afflict certain share holders who perceive a lack of positive momentum with DRE,s SP and projects. The question i ask is why would board members pump millions of their own cash into the company and happily watch their investment dollars turn to dust. Fact is nearly all spec stocks have retreated heavily over the past 2 years simply look at the 5 year charts of almost any spec stock and you will see an across the board exit from this sector. Blue chip stocks have had significant growth over this period and have offered exelent dividends in addition i can earn over 5% interest on an investmant account safely with a bank. So why take the spec stock risk in a so called global cost of living chrisis when safe options are available elsewhere. Personally i dont see a turnaround in the near future and believe 18 months to 2 years will be the minimum time to wait for a positive upturn in this sector. When times are tough most people will not take significant risks.
