In 2018 TLM sold its share of the Monty Cu/Au project for $72m to Sandfire. A nice little earner for TLM. My understanding (correct me if I am wrong) was that a royalty was payable on top of the cash that TLM received. Can anyone shed light on this?
I wrote to Sandfire and they sent me a terse one line email saying Monty is no longer operating. Why was it shut down? It's hard to believe it was depleted in such a short time.
I know some of you have been in TLM for decades. Thanks in advance for any information you have.
