Is there a geologist here able to answer the following questions please?
Would the geologists on site have the capability or technical instruments to tell from the samples taken what minerals are actually present? And if so, their concentration?
I fully understand that the definitive answer is dependent upon assays performed in a lab. But I wouldn’t be surprised if there is technology available to do a preliminary assessment on site. Probably wrong but anyway …
The trigger for my questions is that they planned to drill 30 holes, but drilled 40. If they had the technology on site, then either they struck nothing in some holes and went searching, or they hit something and went looking for its boundaries.
And yes: the wait is driving me crazy. I’ll drive down to Dan Murphy’s now and top up on my medicine …
