We take this sort of thing very seriously they said"....they looked at several cases and concluded no manipulation ..just market dynamics ..wish I`d kept the emails...its obviously manipulation of some sort because it doesn't happen on all stocks and only sometimes on other stocks ESR for example some days it happened other not...meh Ive noticed sometimes that its a shorting technique you see it on the LI stocks where the algo is set to prevent any higher highs in a downtrend it can go on for weeks

Hmm, ok. So if it's a shorting technique, it could just be hangover from the main downtrends, the algos not having switched sides just yet. Or are we talking just taking pips where it's essentially meaningless when momentum eventually kicks in?
