hate to say it but that was my first thought too... and Chihuahua (as I understand it) is right in the middle of that. I wonder if that is just a stereotype or does it actually affect how mining companies do business? this caught my eye but greater understanding of sovereign risk I feel is needed before I buy in. if anyone can point me to a good summary of current mining climate in Mexico that would be appreciated. obviously a long history with mining dating back to Aztec / conquistador days, also I believe similar to Australia there were a large number of Cornish miners that went over in the 19th century. you have to be a little bit suspicious about why the vendors are exiting - they are US/Canadian listed so theoretically closer to the action and I hope there are no unforseen pitfalls that have motivated the seller.
