    A bit more background information on Ms Nosworthy's decision making record. Nosworthy was also Chair of the Queensland Water Commission in 2008. In that position she opposed repealing Gold Coast water restrictions when the GCCC dams were overflowing, preferring that excess water should be flushed down the Nerang river rather than be used by the residents after the drought broke.
