I hope you realise shorters actually help the share price, when the stock goes other way, they have to cover, so then we have actual buyers buying stock and shorters covering thus creating extra buying pressure.
I never understand the hatred towards shorts, they are trying to make money just like you and I are trying to make money.
If the company is good, eventually they will buy back and we are all happy.
