QANTAS is very adept at buying politicians. Having a good stock of captive politicians is good business.
They are cheap and very good value. A few upgrades and extensions to their Chairman's Club memberships and they will give away billions of Other Peoples Money.
These bought and paid for politicians will protect QANTAS from competition and play the "patriotism" card for us on demand.
