NK needs its nuclear arsenal nutralised by the US before anyone decides on any form of conventional war. One atomic/nuclear bomb on a major SK city could potentially kill over 1 Million citizens.
If the NK people were allowed to vote I am sure they would want unification its just the political elite preventing it
