i think for most of us the AGM told us a lot of what we already know...for me it reinforced everything said to date with a few sweeteners thrown in, what was mentioned by both speakers was the likelihood of buybacks possibly being reintroduced, which I'm a fan of, in particular with a company like WHC which could be argued is tightly held with only some 836m shares on issue....ideally I'd like to see a both happen, increased dividends and a share buybacks, however I'm confident enough the company will make the proper call when required....the report is almost telling us "come back in 12 months"....up until then unless there's a surge in coal prices id expect WHC to act more like a utility stock then once the handbrakes released an inevitable surge....still a fun stock to trade on a daily basis.
