I guess if you were in the first 6 months of the trial and seeing no benefit you would carry on, thinking that you are probably on the placebo.
Once participants enter the second half of the trial however, if they are still seeing no benefit they'd be more likely to withdraw.
The fact that there are 34 patients already in the second half of the trial and none have chosen to withdraw has to been seen as positive.
