Let's cut out the bull. The NBN will cost you the consumer MORE. If the speeds are faster and the the download limits are more then of course you will have to pay more. The question is do most people need more? No they don't so why should they pay more.
And let's not forget the $50bill (and rising) spend. You can't expect to spend such a huge amount of money, offer cheaper solutions AND get a 7% return. It just won't happen, and anyone who knows how to count simple arithmetic knows it. But the government will push forward with blatant lies, that's what they're best at.
