Good post peppie, but.. I cannot help but be a little saddened to see the asset let go for such a small amount (basically enough cash to drill 1 deep hole at Pepper... which if the rationale fits, could deliver SPR potentially hundreds of ounces.... at far more valuable metrics).
For what it's worth, I think the quick sale, versus a spin off (surely... in the current market, a spin off would have been a very viable option), just shows that yes... Dalgaranga is the main game, but also.... the company is being simplified for any potential corporate action (@Joelstar - more breadcrumbs......).
If I can put on my practical hat.... Glenburgh is still a long way from getting into production and would have siphoned off valuable capital.
Still... just a few more drill holes and who knows
I def don't think SPR is going to be acquiring anything in the near term... it's all about the drilling and getting everything ready for production.
I can almost imagine SL saying 'laser focus team'....
