That's actually what happened to the gold price during the Trump administration. I would settle for the same.
I would be more concerned if Trump really allows Musk free rein to do a Milei in America. That could actually save the dollar because probably nothing else will.
Meantime, whatever fall gold may still have to endure will probably be backstopped by central bank demand, family office and other investor demand. And whatever that level is, it's still very rich.
