No I’m fairly sure like Maverick7 thinks, they bring in big semis, and load up 2.2km worth (2,200m) of cores, it does take a while to cut them to the right length to fit on the all the trucks, and then they reverse those big suckers up to the loading ramp at the back of the lab. It might take a while because the line up of trucks down the road takes a while to clear 1 x 1.
I’m fairly sure they would take sub samples, photograph, document all length and have samples analysed.
