I ain't a lawyer and thank God for that LOL Just to answer your question the reason CHM has to pay MMX's legal costs is cuz before the trial MMX made an "Offer Without Prejudice" to settle the case but CHM rejected the offer.
Now what CHM recovered is much less than what MMX offered to pay to settle the case. That's why CHM has to pay MMX's legal Costs.
