Austex just came out with the AISC of the major gold mines on the asx. The table is below and I've blanked out the codes because its a paid subscription. The interesting thing is that if Vertex were mining today to their AISC of their PFS ($1833), they would be in the top 5 lowest cost producers on the asx.
Thge PFS AISC was before the sorter was factored in, and it will decrease the mass presented by 79%. That will have a material reduction in the AISC.
So we find ourselves in a situation where AISC will decrease, the gold price has risen substantially, they are unhedged, the capital expenditure is reduced, and the NPV and IRR have materially increased. That is quite rare in my experience and indicating to me that Roger and team are bootstrapping this to become a very profitable and potentially the lowest cost producer on the asx. This is in a Tier 1 jusristriction. Currently very happy with how this is unfolding. GLTAH
