I wish I could say that I’m surprised. But sadly, I’m not. The way that Redflow responded when my unit started acting up was strongly suggestive of them having been there before.
I was lucky. I got a buyback, and managed to get them to pay for my battery to be removed, before they went under. To read of so many failures says to me that others weren’t so fortunate.
I’d like to echo one of the comments in that group: Everest Energy pulled my butt out of the fire when I needed a replacement battery system (my solar rig won’t produce any power without a battery in the circuit.) I have no qualms about recommending them for anyone else in Melbourne needing to sort out Redflow’s mess.
