Greenbushes the highest grade lithium mine in Australia and was producing through high value lithium price through the period leading up to now showed it just meet costs for last period ! What chance does that leave WES Mt Holland to produce profitable lithium = None at All.
WES last quarter for share of lithium from Mt Holland was 50,000 tons and A$26 million to produce in debit ! So obviously it’s not profitable and ramping it up and commissioning costs are killing it ! If WES turns on Kwinana Plant then all profitable WES companies will be paying the lithium disaster !
”Only” chance WES has to get its lithium purchase and investment is developing the Mt Holland GOLD assets - it’s blindingly obvious !
