Now that the smoke is starting to clear, hopefully, I just thought I would give my opinion on yesterdays action:
1. Extreme nervousness and volatility is a perfectly normal and painful trait ( I took a $168,000 hit yesterday ) of a stock that is in high growth mode with overblown expectations. Don't take my word for it, just do a search on the cahrt history of any high growth entity and you sill see what I mean, In many cases there are signs of far worse examples.
2. NXL management are not going to " gild the lily " by talking up ( over promising ) and under delivering, quite the opposite, they are going to report conservatively and then exceed beyond. I prefer this approach, despite sceptisism and volatility as it leads to larger and more enduring long term gains.
3. The volume , historically, was not large, suggesting retail investors were the main sellers, along with a few traders playing in and out games.
4. The report was not bad, IMO, investor reaction was to overcorrect to the downside.
5. They have a world class product delivered by AI technology , additionally, they inhabit a niche industry with few competitors. The future is bright for NXL.
6. I will, as is my investment demeanour, ride this one out , look back in a few weeks time and wonder what the fuss was all about as NXL scales new 52 week highs.
7. Hold tight guys, it's gunna be a wild ride , but the only way is up!!!
