Was thinking I would miss out, but an analyst on djausnews or whatever piped up that this news today was a profit downgrade to them, and the sp gapped down slightly at the open. By my sometimes crap numbers it seems an 18% FY PBT upgrade on how things looked only a month ago.
So the 2023FY first q margin PBT was about 0.9%, and q2 about 0.99%. So margins could be looking at about 0.96% q1, and 1.29% q2, averaging about 1.12% assuming equal halves. Then if TTV is 1.5% higher than pcp at 11300m (to get $11470m TTV), we are at $129m PBT for the HY. 66% skew to half 2 takes it to 379m PBT FY.
So it all might stack up.
