I seriously cant believe how many people are worked up by this buyback!
From my perspective...
1) Sale of the Acadia Voucher was $150m, more than initially thought. Their share was US$50m, lets say an increase US$20m more than they originally planned;
2) The majority of this "free money" IMO makes up the AU$50m buyback.
So in reality a lot of this buyback - IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO IT - will be free cash based on the inflated sale price of the PRV voucher.
Not to mention its a strong signal to the market regarding recent SP fluctuations.
Reality check people!
