I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing to want lower house prices- it reduces the risk of a bigger bust in the future and means more affordable housing for young Australians. Surely that is a good thing?
If that occurred, my house would be worth less, but how does that make me worse off? Only if I wanted to sell and then rent and I have no plans to do that.
