Vic Liberals went to the polls with a policy of doing a report on Daming the Mitchell River to see if it was feasible.
While in power, Labor stated (John Thwaites water minister) his advisors told him a dam on the Mithcell River would no fill.
Since that statement, there has been 3 big floods in Gippsland, doing enourmous damage to farms, food, etc, and 3 times a dam would probably have filled.
Its mind boggling why it is so hard to find commonsense these days.
