We can agree to disagree on the paragraph. To blame it on shareholders for the running of the company is a huge stretch, you might be correct about ' the only thing' omitted but that is not a unique situation with RFX for goodness sake. That is the way almost all public companies are setup and possibly all on the ASX. So to blame shareholders for the running of the company is disingenious.
Were there warning signs as @sjl mentions that should have impacted our investment decisions- absolutely. I and others were stupid to continue to stomp up money in the CR - as folks like @simon pointed and others pointed out before the CR. (never invest what you can't afford to lose...) But almost all share investment risk is limited to the price we paid, but SH can't be blamed for the running of a company - thats what executive and non executive are paid to do.
