Insider trading has occurred in the past, so anybody stating they know something is not obvious or treated as a joke.

Insider trading is a criminal act that can leed to investigations and jail time.

As pointed out to you, making false claims, especially if someone is investigated.

Can leed the person making the statement to be criminally charged.

It does not matter if in person, on the phone, email, sms or in a chat forum.

The law covers all places.

We can not just go around making stuff up, esp if it confers a crime.

If you do it again, you do run the risk of dealing with a legal ramification.

I thought you were serious as did others here, others I showed also, we were close to reporting you.

Once an investigation starts, it is hard to stop it, esp if insider trading.

Any ways, I am glade you have seen the error you made.
