PE aren't benevolent patrons. They are get in and get out for as much as possible.

I honestly beleive that SYA could have just bought out SQ and focussed on themselves but to get the money off RCF they insisted that there needed to be a larger, more marketable package of assets that could then be onsold to a larger conglomerate that can ride out the lull with existing cashflow from other revenue streams.

If we can double, maybe even triple the price here before being sold I would be happy but I sincerely doubt that SYA in it's merged form will be listed for any more than a year or two post this transaction.
