Am.I the only one left here who remembers that great French film from the 1950s, The Wages of Fear.? It was a pretty simple plot. A group of money-hungry drivers signed up for the very dangerous job of taking trucks full of nitro-glycerine to mining sites in some jungle area somewhere. The catch was this stuff is very volatile and too much jolting could set it off with more than your ave rage bang. They had to drive over unsealed and quite corrugated roads so they had two choices - drive very fast so they would skim over the bumps or drive very slowly and hope for the best. Some of them made it, some didn't.
Something reminded me of this movie this morning but I can't remember what it was now. Probably something in politics. It'll come back to me, maybe.
