Botswana has no history of mining (let alone exporting) bulk minerals such as coal or IO. Instead, its wealth has come from high value/low vol resources such as platinum and esp diamonds. Cu is valuable enough to be trucked to a port but coal needs trains and big ones at that. There is a demand for power and i expect initial coal production to be burnt on site and sold as electricity. Exports are 5-6 years away.
