Investment strategies aside pgrant2010, when selling it is best to avoid the herd. If a pre trading anno looks like it will attract the herd to sell, let them get on with it in the first hour of trading - no stopping them anyway.

Usually the stock will settle and present better sell opportunities later in the day IMO.

IF we have the worst news, P&A with fluff, which I doubt but you never know, we'll have bloodletting on the first day let alone the first hour. Better sell opportunites will arise once LT investors see the value and start moving the stock north again.
