If there is a market for High Porosity Sandstones, they are definately in business!!!
They would have noted Hydrocarbon shows while drilling if that was the case, you only really find out porosity etc generally from logging after drilling through the section.
Also I am boggled a bit why they are only drilling ~800m, they have the rig there, wouldn't take much more to drill down to ~2000m or more. Considering it is underexplored area & plans for follow up, it would help alot to have lower cross sections for the geo's + they might strike it lucky. I noted most of the prospects in recent geos report had depths of 2000-4000m.
