Same stuff different day. My 'end of the month' contact has not dampened enthusiasm. I did not hear this from the ATC, rather from an insto that is checking FNT out and should have a result 'shortly'.
The timetable on the deal expires today. However it is a simple process to get an extension, requiring two parties to re-agree, whilst funding is finalised.
Why are they still putting FNT on there announcements? Because both they and the FNT management are very keen to get this underway.
I do not think that this is some elaborate scam to be disingenuous or to try and obfuscate that situation. At the end of the day it was a market sensitive announcement and they had to get it out. What are they going to do? Delay an announcement thereby breaching an ASX listing rule, just so they can avoid conspiracy theories on HC?
