Perhaps one of the big differences between between imu and rac is the management style.
I think it is fair to say that PH annoys quite a few imu shareholders. LC used to communicate a lot with shareholders, but now less so (in my opinion).
"Follow the science" is a line we get. But the "Goose is full" and the "dance card is full" did not seem to go anywhere.
Compare that with rac, where Dr Tillett regularly engages with shareholders, and will always answer questions (where he can) on Hotcopper.
