Never met the guy. Take your point, its not definitive. He did however seem sincere imo and also expand on it in terms of breadth of interest, duration.
Its a small part of my overall point, but it has gravitas due to it recency, his stated industry stature, etc.
He could have been 100% sincere and something like the trump discussion has come along an diluted proceedings, or possibly they're waiting on same to respond? From what I can see we dont know.
Key point is there's no "No" Im aware of and a sufficient amount of time has now elapsed, were I think a hard no would have been received back by management now. Hence given the duration, I start to form the opinion that there is some interest.
