I tend to re-call someone suggesting the "company" suggesting they were next on the list at last re-balance, I'm not sure they would know this (although I'd have no confidence in the ASX). I'd suggest they would have to be a reasonable chance, given the sector they are in (ie not financial or resource, although that is an assumption). I'd be interested if anyone has greater insight into the "great minds" of the ASX. I was certainly surprised by the re-balancing of the asx 300 at last rebalance (in terms of some sticks that remained in).
