    My understanding is that the $3M plus 9% interest becomes $3.27M after the one year, which EQR can then convert to equity at 7.5 cents/share and so issue 43.6M shares to the note holder. Plus another 10M options at 10 cents/share.

    Seems like a big vote of confidence to me.
