2nd hand mines are valued like 2nd hand mining equipment … you may remember my comments on WGX claim of their $200m of mining equipment and my cynical thoughts.
Used mines and processing plants on C&M are just a liability with an attached rehabilitation and environmental legacy.
As an aside the Dartbrook Coal Mine in the Hunter Valley just recently reopened after being on C&M since 2006 … that’s a lot of C&M cost.
Best that Halls Creek is gone for PNR.
