I've often wondered about the reported housing shortage. I think of all the people I know and how many spare bedrooms they have. Couples living in 3br houses, 2 spare rooms. Parents who's children have moved out but they still live in a 4br house etc. It doesn't take me long to add up 50 spare rooms floating around the people I know. Enough to sleep 100 people, no sweat.
There may be a shortage of housing to satisfy our expected lifestyle but I can't see how there is a shortage of rooms to sleep everone.
