I hold LD in high regard for what he achieved in 2022 and 2023 when the SP was belted and there were huge debt issues to manage. Would not have been an easy time, and I don't know that any typical CEO without a committed/desperate founder being involved would have seen the business through that period. You just don't get the same level of commitment from most managers and board members.
