Well spoken Bacci.
In a past life, I used to own a Service Centre, servicing Wtty. repairs for Sony,Samsung and others. The treatment from HV to their customers,I found, was often woeful.Surprisingly, at the time, I always found DJs customer service was the best. However,I do digress, and what I wanted to say was that HVN at Taren Point,Sydney, wanted me to install sophisticated TV/Surround set-ups for their customers. To do a good job and instruct the customer would take 2-4 ours plus travel time to the customers house plus fuel.We priced the job at a fair price covering everything at approx $200.HVN offered a lousy $50 for the job.Soon told them where to go.
As a result, many customers missed out on getting a professional installation, and instead wound up with poor service after spending big dollars on some fairly sophisticated equipment.
I would always tell my customers to avoid Harvey Norman, and that was 14 years ago!
Seems like the message is finally getting through.
