From my research (as a medtech/biotech aficionado), NUC:VQ will not last as the gold standard due to a few reasons: - prevalence of NUC capabilities is sporadic and has limited accessibility to garner a widespread use. - NUC throughput is much lower than what CT:VQ is marketed as - NUC requires significantly more radioactive exposure to patients compared to CT:VQ
Now the elephant in the room is that these inferences are on the assumption that CT:VQ does what it says it will...
