Have been and remain into CCC over the medium to long term, I'm certainly no trader - so I usually try and resist commentary on the day to day, given it's so futile in such a liquid and volatile stock.

That said, I watched todays action quite closely, especially the closing auction, where bids and dummy bids flitted in and out right up to 4:09 and 59 seconds. Personally (and given what I've said above I could be very wrong) I think today was quite good for CCC and potentially bullish for next week if we can carry this to close on Friday. Buyers repeatedly stepped up to sellers and resisted any push below 0.075, I think people were trying to contain the price at close and seemingly only some last second switches on both buy and sell in the closing auction prevented a tick up to 0.076.

AFR and MNM had very average days, down 14% and near flat respectively. With the ASX flat also.

I'm sure Funky will have a far more insightful and succinct opinion, and it will certainly contain something along the lines of "we need to see if tomorrows action holds up too".

Can't wait for the half yearly, if it's as good as hoped all this angst over 5% gains will be long forgotten...
