let’s keep this very very simple.
karoon raised $1bn at $2 which was really at 2.30(moved into event ). To buy an asset which has massive growth opportunities and diversified its production.
its now buying that $1bn back at 1.37 or let’s say at $600m valuation. It’s insane
its also giving a 5% div yield in the process.
we have a 8% short interest .. at some point they have to cover.
this is such an amazing opportunity for all retail investors and to be frankly honest I wish I could buy more.
you get 40k barrels a day of oil with super low cost in a energy demanding world… with geopolitical risk.
