The reality is that a commercial UCG plant is expensive $400 million to $1 Billion, depending on what you plan to get out of it. The companies that will succeed are those companies that have that sort of cash or at least easy access to that sort of cash. CXY doesn't have that sort of cash so they need funding or a joint venture. I can't see companies fronting up the cash or signing joint ventures with a company like CXY that has a 9 month blemish (even though it might not be all their own fault) in their history. There are many companies out there, CXY is not a clear winner. If you want to stick with CXY, spread your bets and invest in some other Australian or overseas companies doing UCG.
