Hey Hittman, What we saw yesterday was the start of something, for mine. Just because Leslie's presenting today, doesn't necessarily mean whatever it is, will be divulged by her today. She goes on weekly pitches and would have areas every week, where she knows not to go. If a deal or data is coming, sure she'd love to get it out there, but won't jeopardize it- especially a deal.
What's to say yesterday wasn't just the start of the leak, with volumes and the share price rising over the next few trading days. These leaks happen because news travels through so many hands. Just through people's conversations, they create leaks unintentionaly. Moreover, from employees in either firm's (a deal) or those being part of tens handling the data, it's just too much of a heads up for them. Even if they don't invest, who they tell- tell others !
One thing's' for sure, we might see the 6% of shorters take a break. That alone might see some green days.
Interesting times. Just when I had the Tom Tit's, thinking news wasn't going to drop now until 2025 !
