Some very good points there, and as a novice investor it's the reason why I join Hotcopper, to learn and get insights from people like yourself who have experience/knowledge of the investment industry.

I totally agree that politicians don't like to make hard, unpopular decisions in the run up to an election and the government processes do take a long time in Malawi. In saying that, I'm hopeful that a least the process of developing and passing the Resettlement Management Plan is underway, it's the first mention of it for a while. I'm in for the long-haul now it's boom or bust.
