Leveraging stranded gas resources to power data centres represents a significant growth opportunity, particularly given the sector's escalating energy demands. The ability to rapidly scale power generation from these otherwise underutilised hydrocarbons provides distinct advantages over more capital-intensive and time-consuming alternatives, such as nuclear facilities. Moreover, converting vented or flared gas into a productive energy stream enhances revenue potential and improves overall environmental stewardship by reducing unnecessary emissions. I wish Australia had cheap energy like that!
