I was told by the Mining Inspectorate that the last day to appeal was the 4th of December. I asked for clarification as this did not align with Talga's announcement. They made a mistake and mixed up the processing dates between the different Sami villages in their initial email to me.

13th of December is the last day in which the Talma village can appeal, which is what Talga are referring to in today's announcement.

Their translated response:

"I see that I mixed up the service of process dates for the Sami villages. I apologize for that. **na Sami village signed their receipt of service on 13/11 and has since appealed the case within the appeal period. Talma Sami village signed on 22/11, so their last day to submit a possible appeal is 13/12. The appeal period for other property and interested parties has expired."

Also, to answer some of the above questions, appeals against concessions typically conclude with the Government as the final decision-making body. However, it is still possible to request a judicial review from the Supreme Administrative Court. That said, the standard procedure generally ends with the Government's decision.

I'm pleased with the wording in the announcement. It reads like appeals against the concession can cook in the background and won't interfere with Talga's project execution stage. Per-Inge Kruse's recent activity with potential customers and strategic partners also gives weight to this thinking.
