I think the voluntary administration is purely for them to take the last bit of money out of the company. They have gone into administration before they run out of money so the company can afford the administration costs instead of the directors being personally liable.
I don't know what half of the costs are in the quarterly financials we see masked as payments to related entities but I wonder just how much we have been paying to SM for what??
How can we possibly chew through so much coin when we're not running pilot plants or refining processes or digging holes.
I'll bet SM puts in a big claim as a creditor in these proceedings and sucks it dry.
If you think the company is doing this to rescue itself then what a fool you are, and if they are then it just shows how incompetent and overpaid JW is if he can't sell off a few things or restructure to save us.
Happy to say Im wrong if I am unlike others around here but I don't think I'll have to.
Lets see what happens shall we.!!
Looking forward to the usual comments from the flogs who think this is paid downramping.
How's the humble pie going, bit tart to taste.!!
